    Under the supervision of the Senior Scientist, CASEL is seeking a Field Specialist who will be tasked with researching, documenting, communicating about, and helping to advance critical areas within the broad field social and emotional development. The position will be part of CASEL’s research team and maintain an initial two-year focus on Mindful Awareness Practices (MAP).

    Under the supervision of the Director of Assessment and Continuous Improvement, CASEL is seeking an individual to help plan and execute research projects in social and emotional learning (SEL) to advance the science and evidence-based practice of SEL in order to promote children’s success in school and life. This includes preparing grant proposals; identifying and executing data collection and evaluation methods and protocols; analyzing data and preparing and presenting findings; collaborating with both internal and external research partners; and participate in and/or lead meetings with national research teams, program providers, educators, and/or assessment developers.
