Adria Husband


Practice Community Manager

Adria Husband supports collaboration across partner districts and efforts to scale SEL in school districts across the country. Adria will help CASEL to enhance and grow our community-building efforts including managing national convenings, growing our professional learning communities, and managing our initial engagement with new districts. In her most recent role at the Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL) as the director of school financial support, she worked with a network of 31 Chicago public schools. She focused on policy, sharing best practices across the network and successfully building community among the support staff to rely and consult with each other. Prior to her role at AUSL, Adria was a senior budget manager in the Chicago Public Schools, managing a portfolio of approximately 180 schools. She was a member of the first cohort of the Surge Institute Fellowship and runs the DIVAS mentoring programming, which she created.
